It is not known who has masterminded the fraud in goa, however increasingly it appears that customers who order from amazon in goa are being harassed for placing the order, facing so many delivery related problems that they will think twice before placing the order . An item was ordered on amazon on 5 July 2017, and on 8 july 2017, the customer got a message, item is out for delivery from Amazon, Bluedart. However the item was never delivered on 8 july 2017, though the customer wasted her time being at home the entire day, without any food, postponing all other work.
On 10 July 2017, also a person phoned from bluedart saying that they had been told (allegedly by a raw/cbi employee impersonating the amazon customer ) that the customer would collect it. The customer said that she had not agreed, and asked the bluedart person to deliver to the address specified. The person calling said that the delivery was scheduled for the next day, yet the customer got an amazon sms saying that the delivery was attempted and she was not at home.
Finally on 11 july 2017, after waiting for a long time, the item was delivered. The delivery person mahen said that he had not attempted delivery on 10 july 2017 and the parcel was given to him for the first time on the morning of 11 july 2017 which he delivered the same day.
On 8 July 2017, the amazon customer had otherwise planned to do some shopping, now she had to waste her time waiting at home, for the item to be delivered, though bluedart had no intentions of delivering the item. It would be interesting to find out why the bluedart online records are so misleading, saying that directions are not available, when the real Bluedart delivery person has not been given the item ordered for delivery
